Our Society is dedicated to celebrating and preserving the rich heritage of Ireland while honoring the profound contributions of Irish immigrants and Irish Americans to the fabric of American society.
Based at the Jersey Shore - also known as the Irish Riviera - members are primarily from Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Most events are held at the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh clubhouse in Belmar.

Our Story
Founded in October 2025, the Irish American Society of the Jersey Shore was born out of a shared passion for celebrating Irish-American heritage and honoring the rich history of Irish-American contributions. What started as a vision quickly became a reality, culminating in the first community meeting in December 2025.
From the very beginning, the initial response from the shore community was overwhelmingly positive. The incredible enthusiasm confirmed that there is a deep, vibrant desire for a dedicated space where local individuals can connect, share, and ensure the story of the Irish-American experience continues to thrive.
We hold 5 or 6 meetings per year for members at the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh clubhouse in Belmar. We also plan special events that are open to the public for a fee. Currently we have just over 120 members.

Annual from January 1 to December 31
Individual: $50 Couple: $80
